Cats-style costuming... the Cats Wolf

For some time now, I have walked around with this obscure idea of making a cats-style wolf costume. Finally in July 1999 I have decided to get started, and I found the Cats costuming wwwboard (http://wwwboard.net/bbs1/Ankhmat/), where a lot of people said, that they would be happy to help me out with this. Actually, so many people answered with so much help, that it's now a project (as in "more people that one is working on it" :) ) This page is going to be updated with information on how to (re)do the costume and detailed info on how to do the makeup, friendlily provided by Spazzy kitty

y2000m02d17 - DONE! for real this time

hehe, this time it's really real. I'm done with my wolf costume! The shoes were finished some time ago, and the wig was finished yesterday, and so I have all the things a real costume should have, and better yet: I'm going to wear it all to a costume party tomorrow night! Expect some piccies from that :)

y1999m11d17 - well... not all done :)

hehe... I've decided against using my hair (last time I messed up my hair and it's still suffering from it. woops!), and now I'm moving towards a wig. And I've discovered something that I've missed. If you look at the pictures, I'm not wearing shoes... that's because I haven't got any! But, they arrived today, and so, they've been added as well.

Damn! The project is DONE!!! WOOHOO!!! All the pages have all the needed information on them. Sometime I just might get the prices done, but so far I don't think so... sorry folks, if you wanted to compare, but they have slipped away from me

OK, so here goes: I've got PICTURES!!! They are scattered around the pages, and also a new section called "Pictures" is online, which hold an index of all the images in this part :) Sorry, no thumbnails just yet, wanted to get the pics online as fast as possible!

I'm done with the costume! me be HAPPY!!! So far no pictures to be put up, but some more info has been added to the Unitard section (a scetch is up to show this, and it's done it photoshop, so it kinda raw)

I have added a small new section, but a significant one, if you are a Dane and want to try making a costume. A section where you can see what things cost in Denmark: The Prices section! (TADAA! :) ). Also all of the other pages now have pricings on them as well. Please note, that the prices are in Danish Kroner, as the prices would never be the same abroad as here anyways. There's a VERY raw scetch up of my tail.

y1999m09d11 - Costume almost done :)

I haven't told people on the webboard this, as the costume is not all done yet. So far the progress is: Makeup done, leg+arm warmers done, tail done and hair done (sorta).

Now it's sure that something is going to happen VERY soon :) got my stuff thursday and we're trying the makeup on :) a temporary image has been put up on the makeup page (yup, that's how I look :) )

WOW something actually happened in the production of the Cats Wolf :) I've gotten REAL plans now! Here's a scetch for your pleasure. Don't worry about the size of the picture even though it looks big at a first glance, it's only 48.992 bytes.

y1999m08d02 - e-mail and wig page

A page is here on the wig (still nothing on it, but it's there to have something put on it :) ). I decided to use the e-mail aliases I have and make one for this project. Actually, the address is the same as my primary (leinir@leinir.dk), but by writing to this one, it will go to the proper folder :) . The mail address is catswolf@leinir.dk. It should be used when you have a comment, an idea or anything else concerning the cats wolf (in case you didn't figure that one out :) )
