It is of cause not all races that are so big and wide spread, that there could be gathered as much information as to make a page like those for the dragons, sithe, dwarves, elves and fae-folk. These smaller, but just as important races, are the ones this page is here for. If you have information on some race, that you feel have it's place here, but is not, please do not hesitate and e-mail me-.

Tuatha de Danaan

Thanks to Alughasa for sharing this with us

A race that at one time occupied the physical plane in Ireland in Ancient times. They are said to be "people of the sky". The name "Tuatha de Danaan" could be translated as "Tribe, or People, of Dana". They moved out of the physical plane after a battle with the new invaders, known today as the Celts. These are said to be among the first of the fae. Their ancestors are the Sidhe, or "People of Peace"* and the resemblance is similar. Commong among the Danaan are pointed ears, sleek and muscular, with pale skin. For the most part Danaan otherkin will show intenst interest in the arts, crafts or strategic games.

  • [Editor's note: The Sidhe are also known as Elves]

Unknown Gargoyle-type

Thanks to Alughasa for sharing this with us

The gargoyle-types in the otherworld are typically grey in color, varying from dark to light, with varying hair color, and occasionally sport horns. They are very muscular, and usually possess a warrior-type attitude. Typically they are winged, but some wingless types do exist. Their human sides are very protective of their friends and family, and they typically sport intense loyalty. The human side is often physiclly active, and in my experience, they enjoy balancing themselves on thin objects, such as railings or ledges, as if they were percing.

Winged cats

Thanks to Amanjaku for sharing this with us

I wish I could tell you more about winged cats. They are quite intelligent, and have an affinity for magick. Without this affinity they couldn't fly; Like most large flying creatures, the wingspan isn't big enough to suport flight without magickal aid. Winged cats have other magickal affinities, too, such as healing.

As for appearance, the winged cat I saw looked like a bobcat with silvery fur and wings, both of with were dappeled with black sport. I do not know if this is common, or wether there are different breeds of winged cats.
