Furries

What is a furry, you might ask. Well, that is actually quite easy to explain. It is a person (of any race, other or human) that is in one way or another, well, furry. This can be in style of life, feeling like you have an animal inside that want out (this is sometimes called lycanthropy (please visit www.lycanthropy.org too, for even more info on lycanthropes). Please note, that not all furries are furry animals. Also both bird, insect and reptile forms are named furries even though there aren't much fur on any of them. Another thing yet is that there are also a furry type of people that are simply furry. These people tend to be considerably rare, and they are mostly collected by some money-lover and put in a freak show. These people are by many furries envied due to the fact that they are, indeed, furry.

Species

There are a LOT of different species of furries. If you name an animal in the world, you can be pretty sure there is a coresponding furry somewhere in the world. So therefore I will not consentrate on the different animal species of furries, but in stead I am going to concentrate on the different types of furries. There is, of cause, the two most simple ideas of furries: Pure animal and were-beast, where the pure animal is just that, and the were-beast is a classic lycanthrope of the type. For example: Were-wolf, were-panther... The were-beast is normally called to as a centaur of the said animal type. For example the classic were-wolf with the mostly human body structure with claws and a wolf head is such a centaur.

The Furry-code

"What is the Furry-code?" you ask. Well, that is a good question, if you don't know it. The Furry-code is a way of identifying youself as a furry online. It is a small portion of text making it possible for everybody to know you from within using only very little space. The following is an example of such a code segment.
